I've been modelling since the age of 9 or 10. I remember starting with the original Airfix Spitfire and Ferguson tractor.
I'm now in my sixties and during my modelling life have ventured into many areas including aircraft, ships, cars and trucks. I've now settled on armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) modelling with the occasional excursion into other fields.
Like most modellers I started building straight out-of-the-box, but now I like to seek out alternative markings and often use after-market parts and decals.
I used to belong to the Air Cadets Group IPMS from which Earley Risers sprang, so I'm one of the founder members of the Club.
I look forward to many more years of enjoyable modelling - my motto is "Too many kits and not enough time!"
